Why I am sad.

Today, I just so happened to find out that I'm not in my ward anymore. The ward that I've been in for 10 years. I'm not sure it even WAS a ward when I first moved to where I am now. The Dacula ward has some, um... interesting characters, but still, I've know some of them for a decade. And now....some adults and little kids that I kind of know -and that's it.

  2. It's always sad to change wards. I've been through ward splits four or five times, but the hardest time was when I was twelve. Only one block (my parents street) broke off of one ward and went with another. My best friend was no longer in my ward.

I have to tell you, though, that no matter how much I hated each change, it always ended up being awesome in the end. It just took a little while for me to get to know the new people. I loved, loved, LOVED my new ward after I got to know them. Tons more than the ward I left, even. It all ended up being way worth it in the end.

I know you don't know anyone well now, but you will. And I bet that you will LOVE being in their ward before you know it!

  3. Madison,
I hope things are getting better now that you have had a couple of week there to meet everyone. It has got to be harder there than here; here you kind of know the people in your new ward because they just live down the street from you but your ward is so spread out I am sure some of the people you have never seen before.

Good luck with it, but the church is true and you will all come together as a ward and hopefully be a better ward than before.
